We spent the weekend in Jackson, Wyoming with one of my best friends from college. It was the first time we were able to see her kids, so they’re the stars of this video, and you’ll also see some of the “festival” called Old West Days that happened to be taking place while we were there. We had a great time visiting and hope we will see her family again soon!

What? Have we lost all of our rich heritage? Whatever happened to “Jackson Hole”, the real name of that Old West town where bandits, cattle rustlers, horse thieves and cheating card sharps hid out to escape the long arm of the law? Has it become so refined that it is now called simply “Jackson?” If you flew there, you could easily see why it had been called that; being surrounded by majestically high mountains (especially the Grand Tetons) which made it difficult for law enforcers to get there. I flew a small plane there twice and then drove there in a motor home. I cannot imaging what it must have been like when trying to get there on horseback.
